‘Versailles’ is a painting by the Belgian artist Kelly Durieu. It depicts a chandelier in the palace of Versailles, reflected in a mirror. Instead of using the flamboyant gold and bright colours of the actual palace, Kelly opted to use greyish and white tones with the intent to create a more humble and mysterious scene.
